U.S. EPA-U.S. DOE-EPRI-A&WMA Power Plant Air Pollutant Control "Mega" Symposium
Powerspan's Phil Boyle presented its ECO-SO2 option for controlling SO2, fine particulate matter, and oxidized mercury from coal-fired power plants at the "Mega" Symposium held August 28-31. This multi-pollutant conference showcases the latest development and operational experience with state-of-the-art methods for reducing air emissions from fossil-fueled boilers. The event is co-sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Energy, Electric Power Research Institute, and the Air & Waste Managment Association. PRB Coal Use Seminar
Research Engineer Rick Mahoney presented Powerspan's PCO pilot testing plans for AmerenUE's Rush Island Power Plant at the American Coal Council's PRB Coal Use Seminar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, August 1-3. PRB Coal Use provides utility coal consumers with advanced techniques, best practices and risk management approaches for handling, storing and consuming Powder River Basin (PRB) coal. 2006 International Symposium on Shanghai Development in the 21st Century
Powerspan's CEO Frank Alix was invited to present ECO technology at the International Symposium on Shanghai Development in the 21st Century, July 26-28 in Shanghai, China. Renowned scholars and leaders from around the world came together to discuss topics related to "Energy Issues and Mega-City Development."

China - U.S. Climate Change Forum
CEO Frank Alix presented at the China - U.S. Climate Change Forum held at the University of California, Berkeley, May 23-24. The event joined scientists, policymakers, business representatives, Nobel laureates, think tank officials and the media to explore how the United States and China can best address greenhouse gas emissions and minimize the impact of global warming on the planet. Electric Power 2006 Conference & Exhibition
Powerspan presented and exhibited at the Electric Power 2006 Conference & Exhibition in Atlanta, GA, on May 1-4. President Phil Boyle provided an update on plans for commercial deployment of the ECO Multi-Pollutant Control Technology.
