We are currently looking for a MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN based in our Portsmouth, NH facility.   The Mechanical Engineering Intern will assist Mechanical Engineers in their day-to-day evolutions both administratively and technically.  Including basic calculations, computer modeling, test setups, work documents and testing.
 
Primary responsibilities include:

• Develops specifications for and orders material
• Interacts with Engineering personnel at vendor and customer sites
• Assist work on all types of mechanical systems, including structure and fluid systems.  Equipment and systems are likely to be required to operate at elevated temperatures and pressures.
• Assists in preparation of test procedures and work instructions.  Monitors the performance of the procedures by manufacturing personnel to ensure testing and work is being done correctly.

Required Background:

• 3rd or 4th year mechanical engineering student
