Document Control Clerk
We are currently looking for a Document Control Clerk based in our Portsmouth, NH office. The Document Control Clerk collects, maintains and distributes all documents necessary for company operations. This position will develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center. Manage the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Primary responsibilities include:
Engineering Support:
- Organization and operation of filing system.
- Organization and operation of mail system.
- Preparation of correspondence as directed by engineering personnel.
- Preparation of documents (e.g. reports, presentations) as directed by engineering personnel.
- Perform clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary.
- Perform duties as defined in document control policies and procedures.
Other:
- Provide support for special projects when necessary.
- Ensures that all supervised personnel understand the hazards in the area in which they work and the health risks associated with those hazards.
Required Background:
- Minimum of high school diploma (additional preferred).
- Knowledge of basic document control systems preferred.
- Microsoft applications to include Excel, Word, Outlook and general computer knowledge a must.
- Individual must be able to interact well with other people.
- Individual should be flexible, organized with a strong attention to detail.
